The Multiverse’s first gay Spider-Man is a “fearlessly femme” temperamental fashion designer called -Weaver, with an Avengers connection.

Marvel has revealed new details about the origin story of its first-ever gay Spider-Man, who is set to make his debut in the upcoming fifth issue of Edge of Spider-Verse. As Marvel continues its push for diversity, it’s been revealed that a gay Spider-Man variant is set to be introduced. This will actually be the first gay version of the iconic superhero. Look at the restrictions for Spider-Man, after all; would anyone really take a Spider-Man who smokes, drinks or indulges in underage sex seriously?
